J7 Broadcast

The J7 Broadcast ASI to HDMI converter is one of a family of professional converter products that are designed to service a variety of needs across the growing DVB-ASI industry segment. Each of the J7 converter products is able to receive and decode the compressed ASI stream in real-time and convert it to support different applications needs.

The J7 ASI to HDMI converter receives a full-bandwidth compressed ASI stream at up to 100mbps and generates an industry standard HDMI 1.3 output that can be displayed onto a wide range of monitors or other compatible devices.

The J7 converter supports standard DVB-ASI streams including Standard and High Definition MPEG-2 and H.264 4:2:0 formats and generates 4:3 or16:9 output formats according to AFD headers or the embedded stream instructions.


	ASI - HDMI Decodes the first program in the compressed ASI stream and outputs to the HDMI port continuously. ASI - HDMI+ A front panel control button enables sequential rotation through the available programs in the compressed ASI stream. It also supports an “Auto” mode function where it scans sequentially through the available programs on a continuous basis, halting on each program for a few seconds. ASI - HDMIe Provides a standard RJ45 Ethernet port and a built in web server providing for simple command line management of the program selection with the converter. The interface enables sequential program selection or the enabling of the auto mode.
