The HDR-1000 High Definition Receiver receives over-the-air 8VSB broadcasts and converts the output into a DVB-ASI Stream for digital distribution and simultaneously provides down-converted NTSC video, audio and SAP.
The integrated digital tuner supports VHF/UHF channels 2-69, selected via the front panel controls and provides an NTSC output format of letter box 16 x 9, center-cut 4 x 3 or according to AFD if present. The HDR-1000 decodes EIA-708B close captioning, EIA-766 DTV V chip and Gemstar and reinserts into the output streams. Front panel mounted signal strength indicator.
The HDR-1000 provides for full bypass mode operation in the event of loss of input signal or system power. Bypass relays automatically switch to an alternate NTSC and audio input signal.
